Radish and butter sandwiches

We just have to showcase these beautiful radishes, even if it does mean offering you a recipe that is barely more complicated than its title. But its simplicity allows the ingredients to really stand out.

  • 1 bunch radishes
  • unsalted butter, room temperature
  • sliced baguette or your favorite yummy crusty bread
  • sea salt or coarse kosher salt

Chill radishes in ice water for 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. Drain and slice thinly (a mandolin slicer is just right for this chore). Butter your bread generously and sprinkle lightly with salt. Arrange radishes on top and serve.
