2017 CSA Membership Agreement

By purchasing a share, you are agreeing to membership in the Rolling Acres CSA for the 2016 season. I agree to pick up my CSA share at one of the following locations:

  • On Sundays, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. at First United Methodist Church on 70th & Cass, Omaha, Nebraska.
  • On Wednesdays, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Avoca Main Street Market on Elm Street, Avoca, Iowa.
  • On Thursdays, between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Produce in the Park at Atlantic City Park, Atlantic, Iowa.

As a member, I commit to support the farm through timely payments. Any member who makes an initial 30% down payment towards a share must pay the remaining balance upon receiving their first CSA basket or they must discuss other payment arrangements with Denise O’Brien. I understand that any week I don’t pick up my CSA share, my share will be donated to a charitable organization that Rolling Acres Farm sees fit. CSA members and Rolling Acres Farm join in both the risks of farming (crop failure, poor weather, etc.) and its benefits (a bountiful harvest season). I understand that my share will vary from week to week. I also understand that each CSA share will generally consist of approximately 6-10 different seasonal vegetables, and that there is no guarantee on the exact amount or contents of my share. I also understand that CSA shares will vary in weight, size and vegetables depending on the time of the season.

By participating in the Rolling Acres Farm CSA, I am bringing healthy, locally grown food to my neighborhood, I am supporting alternative agriculture, I am building a community and I am helping to make our world a better place. Please print off a copy of the CSA Membership Agreement below and bring it with you when you pickup your first share.
